Thunder vs. who ?

Who do you think the OKC Thunder will play in the finals they already secured a spot. They are a very athletic and young team just like the Miami Heat but this would make it a good match up, but Heat's ECF opponent the Celtics are the very opposite they like to keep the tempo slow and at their pace.

Heat has a great defensive strategy but I think OKC has an even greater offensive strategy so this would be even more of an exciting game. I like the Celtics over the Heat to participate in the NBA finals, last night the Heat won at the Celtics garden this was a great victory for them, Lebron James totally took over he scored 45 points and grabbed 15 boards. He put in an amazing effort for his team t win it all.

Most of the heat were not involved like star player Dwayne Wade he needs to step up if he wants the Miami Heat to win the finals or even game seven, because I know Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett will bring theirs.  I still choose Boston over Miami to increase to the finals because I believe Rajon Rondo is the most dominate point guard in the NBA, and their whole team plays their role better than the Miami heat works as a team.

television POV.

As I read an article by Jon Caramanica tilted Broadcasting a World of Whiteness, I began to notice that the article was very interesting because people had lots of opinions on whether there is too much white entertainment broadcasting other than blacks being shown on television. The article was mainly about opinions of those who act or watch shows frequently. Also I agree with most of them T.V should be way more diverse then it already is, T.V is not only whites but other races are definitely not as popular as whites are.  

I really don't know why network television doesn't broadcast that many shows with diverse cast. This shouldn't really be a huge deal but it should be spoke upon. People blow things out of proportion if someone can’t fit a certain role as actor then no one should complain! I think all people who are chosen for roles on T.V are there for a reason. This was a great thing to chat about in general just to see how people felt about the things they watch or here about. When someone describes a T.V show they usually explain the characters role on the show and don't give out their race the listener just catches on. I just enjoys the shows no matters who the cast I like shows for how much information they provide.

Gun Fashion!

I read an article about gun fashion the old clothing line Woolrich has came out with something new, they feel as though more people are rapidly getting licensed to carry a gun. This is an advantage from their prospective this gives them more of a spin on the clothing industry; they designed chinos that have certain accessories for hiding and concealing a weapon. They added an additional pocket from the pocket that already existed to conceal a weapon. This company has been around for about 182 years so starting a trend is exactly what this company wants to do to stay alive in this fashion industry.
I believe this will be a trendsetter and others clothing will have the same idea but will most

likely be better because they can just build off of flaws by Woolrich. Yes Americans should be allowed to carry guns there is so much crime in the streets people have to protect themselves, I believe gun laws are just right people could illegally get their hands on a gun if they wanted so there really should be no problem with how strict laws are.
I truly don’t know whether it would be less or more crimes if more people got guns because some people would you them for the right reasons and others would misuse them. My overall opinion on this situation is that the pants will become renowned but will also have some downfalls in their creation, because some people would try to misuse their creation.

Parkway's Heatlh Fair Teaches.

The other day I listened to two students, present their student projects on abortion. They both did a good presentation from my prospective. They got straight to the point of what they believed about abortion and they backed they're words up with facts. I found out from the students Shayira Framer and Sierra Blagmon that since 1973 50,000,000 unborn babies have been lost to abortion. Also 3,300 babies’ lives are taken by abortion. That’s 137 babies’ lives taken per hour. Also we had an entire health fair, student Datwon Hester did his on saying no to drugs and saying yes to sports this was a great topic in my opinion because I’m not involved with drugs but I like to play sports. Also others did things at the health fair that I wasn’t that into. My favorite part of the health fair was mainly the abortion part; because I got the most detail from that topic also I enjoy being taught on human body and life. Also 37.4% of abortions in the United States are performed on African American women, while they only represent 13% of the female population in the country. I also believe that 1.5 Americans want to adopt a child. So no child should be killed due to abortion. All should have a place to go in a time of need. Hospitals and orphanages offer children to stay so why should they be could on instead of being adopted or being taken care of while the parent regains life.

Tray Martin's Death.

Teen Trayvon Martin's Death is a rising trend in the news I read an article about this escalating topic of an innocent teen being gunned down by a neighborhood watchmen. He did this in the act of being frightened he approached Trayvon asking what are you doing around here, Trayvon replied why are you following me and they seemed to get in a tussle and pow gunshots were fired and Trayvon was dead. This seems like an interesting story that grabs a lot of attention because the shooter was not arrested due to a Florida law, which those who feel threatened are allowed to shoot. But the shooter George Zimmerman had called enforcements and they were on their way. Zimmerman decided to takes matters into his own hands and follow Martin and then he shot him. This topic gets everybody involved from people with day-to-day lives, NBA teams and even the president! I believe this was a great article, because this is one of the hottest topics out right now, also people really should ponder on this give their deep thoughts on how they feel and was justice served Is a great question to be answered. I pledge that justice was not served to its highest extent but, it not over so I can’t quite voice my full opinion on the subject yet. But from what has been established I can say that further details will happen to come to play also others will get more involved to spread their word.

Charles Duhigg and David Barboza wrote an excellent article In China, Human Costs Are Built Into an iPad, this article was to inform us a about a terrible thriving facility. This sounds crazy right? To me it does this article is a must read if you into Apple products, this make change your mind about then and there very popular products, such as iPad, iPod, and Mac book laptops and etc. They are great researchers from my prospective, they come up with lots of evidence to back up their opinions they say people are brutally injured and yes people are injured, one victim red and black replaced his mouth and nose. All of this has happened because this amazing company that produces the biggest names products as fast as possible had a major safety issue also horrific law issues, this place basically a modern society sweat shop. Those underage worked longs tiring shifts just as the adults worked, workers argued they stood and work machines till they could feel their knees and their knees would become swollen and they could barely walk, and this all happened in hazardous conditions. Also they had to work excessive overtime maybe even seven days a week and they lived in overcrowded dorms with other workers. I believe this is wrong, for all of those who have put through this torture from the children to adults who have had to work, this is basically a crime and this is running a thriving illegal business that should be put to an end.

Trade Deadline Madness

The purpose was to inform all NBA fans about one of the biggest names being traded and more juicy names involving the trade deadline, the Warriors and bucks have comitted to a five player trade involving one of the most dominate SG in the leauge Monta Ellis and other players Ekpe Udoh and center Kwame Brown to Milwaukee for center Andrew Bogut and guard Stephen Jackson.

This Trade Provides both teams with great players, but i believe Milwaukee has te upper hand in this situation because they, have to rising stars including Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis, having a Point Guard that can give you 19 points a night and 5 assist and 4 rebounds isn't bad, Also when you add Monta Who gives you 21 points 4 rebounds and 6 assist its not that much more you need than other players who contribute on the defensive and offensive side. But the Warriors haven't gone out that easy, they have developed some size and that's what they have been needing Stephen Jackson is a geat back court scorer and Andrew Bogut has a legitment rebound game.

i believe it was a good trade either way they both picked up great players but i still think Milwaukee has a slight edge over the warriors because of the youth and scoring abilities. This trade wil most likely change both franchises for good or worst i truly don't know.

Births for woman under 30

For Women Under 30, Most Births Occur Outside of Marriage is the title of an interesting article i read. Written by Jason Deparle and Sabrina Tavernise, it mainly focuses on how most births involving women under 30 are usally going through labor before marriage. Also to explain how this can change childrens future.

They gather information stating nearly two thirds of children in the United States are born to unmarried mothers under the age of thirty. This is a hint of generational change. They also say marriage and pregnancy occur when two well educated companions hook up. Children outside of marriage face elevated risks of falling into poverty, failing in school or suffering emotional and behavior problems.

This article was a great way to get something off their chest, This wasn't really a changer for me i kind of figured that maybe the higher the education level the more, the couple what have thought on having children right away or being married first. But being married first may give you more of an edge or head start on you relationship. But what did changed my thoughts is how the children are at risk i agree where i was raised i didn't see that many marriage but i did see horrific behavior problems.

Facebook is using you!

I read a fairly interesting article called Face book is using you the main idea is to inform you on how Facebook gains it's money and popularity. Also to tell how they filed documents to the government to sale shares of stock to the public. The make their money by selling ad space to companies these advertisements get promoted by keywords. Once you trigger a keyword that sort of company gets advertised.


Personally i think this is a cool way to gain profits its simple and quick, the process isn't that complicated, Also i believe facebook isn't using us be cause they provide us with profits by letting us freely use its site for free of charge, we can easily contact those we barely see and those we see everyday with the push of a button. We post our feelings on an electronic diary basically for thats not being used its being refunded.


They provide information about how they gain there money, thats a fact of being honest it would be using us if we had to pay to long in also post a status or so, thats being greedy and Facebook isn't doing that i believe they have to be paid some way and making the people who play games by tokens isnt enough. Everybody wants money and most of us need it but the way you have to get could be so wrong or it could perfectly right i think this way is right but its a way others would disagree with.

stopping Kony!

i just read a very interesting article about a very important topic. This was about Joseph Kony an african slave master basically he abducts kids. He takes the females and make them sex slaves and he also take the boys an makes them an army. He was a terror children and their parents boys young as the age of 13 are forced to pull the trigger on inoccent by standers who refuse to be ran over by his master. For the young female thy where forced to have sex with him and his entire army.

I believe this is truly wrong, but i dislike the whole concept of them making him famous i agree this would spread the word to all of the minds who have no thought of who he is. Yes he is a great threat to those who live in terrible society of evil. This was a great way of spreading the word with and 30 minute mini movie.

This could be a false thing or a conspiracy but most people say its a scheme to make the rich even richer, im in the middle of the two sides to the story i have disbelif and belief in this kony situation. The evidence of the abused children pulls me to the yes side of the story but the laeness of the story revealing its self makes me think no. But either way i believe putting an end to Kony's madness in Africa.

Im a criminal .

Michelle Alexander, has a point to make she decided to get readers attention by making an article named Im a criminal and so are you. The point of this article is to see and reply to the fact f fugitives being treated unfairly. As she discusses her opinion she's really open with the readers, she says most of us have commited crimes that are very minor from j-walking, to speeding, drinking underage or even smoking pot. She goes even deeper by saying President Obama doesnt consider himself as a criminal, he should though she says. He said he used illegal drugs in his college days in fact he stated used lots of them.

I think this article had a powerful meaning to it, i agree with the fact that all criminals are treated unfairly when they are realeased from prison. They get treated as if they did something very bad as killing someone when they only happen to be incarcerted for stealing, or being in a simple fight this could cost them a a job, unemployment, and there life. certain places have a three strike policy where you can do the most simple crimes and be convicted for cases as murder.

Dr.Farid and Eric Kee help us understand the good or bad issues to modern day life from using Photoshop. Dr Farid and Eric Kee are so, involved with their idea they are proposing to get a software tool to measure how much photos have been edited on a scale from 1-5 which is highest effect to lowest effect. They also talk to many experts “ Were just after the truth in advertising and transparency.” Said Seth Matlins, he went on to say were not trying to demonize Photoshop or prevent creative people from using it. I totally agree with the teams Idea of meaningful photo shopping but I disagree of the fact of them wanted everybody to join this idea I disagree with this idea because its as if its a forceful thing to make someone decide want to join an anti group.

I believe that the article was to express their feelings on Photoshop and the bad or good things it can bring to the community, from putting people down to making very creative people happy over their creative ideas. This article was a great way to express there thoughts on these ideas this was the right way to do something in this form, it was straight forward and to the point. I agree with everything except the idea of promoting the idea to every body. Also I believe this will not help the fact of obesity.

Giants and patriots in superbowl. Rematch of 07 ?

The underrated Giants fought there way through the regular season is to get to the playoffs and by surprise they reached the highest peak of them all. Which is the super bowl these guys where true underdogs for heading to the super bowl. But they showed all the other teams they’re just as tough as them. They tackled all their little obstacles so far but they are yet to face their biggest Tom Brady and his Patriots.

As we all know Tom Brady is not the underdog in any situation he’s put in but last time him and Eli and the Giants clashed he suffered a huge upset. But this is a great rematch for tom and the pats to redeem them selves. But if they have no spark they will not do so I believe both of these will come out with the mind set of winning but Tom Brady just seems to have a more focused one the Eli’s.

Both teams need to be on point for this victory in the super bowl. The giants are the younger team in this situation but they tend to have super bowl experience when they played the Pats back in the super bowl in the 07 season they won over them this was a mind blowing super bowl. The Patriots are the older team in this situation they been in this situation several times.

kobe drops 40 in 4 straight games.

With an injury and divorce on his hands Kobe Bryant, lashed out and dropped forty in four straight games. This man Kobe is any typical NBA star he’s the very opposite, he the man at all time, his off games still to leave his fans puzzled. These 40 point games she's putting up are higher than his age and this guy is a veteran.

We all know he's great but this is just unbelievable talent he’s bringing out at this age. We all knew he had this ability but when he shows it is still unbelievable when he shows us he has it as a veteran he could retire and go to the HOF. But this is his passion, this guy loves basketball and this he was built for.

What amazes me the most is this guy doesn’t quit he very consistent at what he does he takes over when he needs to and he also contributes when he is not needed very much that’s just motivation and determination. Also I respect everything Kobe does on the court every game he just devotes every play to a win. This guy shows us he hates losing loves to win he’s jus a great player to watch to learn a lesson or few about winning he uses all his sources of wins in all the games when he scores 40+ and all of these games puts him on an even higher then he was on before this guy has truly earned respect and trust from his whole team.

Lebron vs. Kobe

Lebron has a 10-2 record against Kobe Bryant. He tends to play his best when he’s playing the best, he does what he needs to do but I truly agree. But I disagree with how people tend to say he’s better than Kobe; in the NBA it’s all about rings. But in that department Kobe is 5-0 Lebron had several chances to take the title of being a champion he just couldn’t quite snatch it, the NBA players put on their a-game because they knew others would be on theirs.

Kobe has the right to brag about his life as a NBA star. This guy shreds teams in always defense, offense and any other way you can imagine. This guy is a freak of nature when he’s on the court he turns up the Kobe system when he plays other NBA stars and non-stars. This guy doesn’t go easy on anybody he feels everybody is on the same exact NBA level as him, I respect this it’s motivation and determination with Kobe that’s why he’s able to call himself a champion.

I believe Lebron tends to control the game until fourth quarter which is crunch time. Nobody can deny Lebron a great player but he’s not a smart decision maker in the clutch that’s just a reason on Lebron's behalf of not being able to consider himself a champion yet, but he’s gaining more and more self confidence as he dropped from the playoffs every year one day Lebron will be crowned champion.

Whats Joe Paternos deal?

Joe Patreno can be considered one of the most historic coaches to ever to coach college football or perhaps ever in sports history but in the great year 2011 his coaching career took a turn for the bad he was forced to get booted from his job due to the fact of a hugely public sex scandal that erupted this year.

Joe Paterno was in serious trouble during 2011 also serious denial he stated he never planned to be in a situation like this he also led on to say that he didn’t have anything to do with the whole situation with his assistant coach Jerry Sanduski being accused of inappropriate touching players this ruined Paternos coaching career this cost him his job that he was great.

I believe Paterno minded his business as he should have its not his job to report crimes but others criticized him saying he should have provided more information but I just simply understand him he’s a coach not a detective nor police officers he doesn’t stop crimes he coaches football its totally different fields also the situation seemed bizarre to as double digit numbers of students began to confess as they seen others do it if they felt that way they should have spoken from the begin.

the late great Steve Jobs.

Steve Jobs was the late great man who will be historically remembered for all he did for technology and more he bring one of the greatest companies to life which of was Apple his mission was to spread a wide varieties of electronics which he did from iPods, computers, laptops, and one of the best smart phones on the market.

This man totally transformed our generation of technology his ideas where brilliant they went with today’s society perfectly his inventions provided things that basically described today’s everyday life he took the throne on the new world of technology easily I believe he was one of the most successful people in his field.

Also he deserved everything he earned his work ethic was incredible he acquired apple with updates for all their products a lot of the time there where never below today’s standards when it came to technology they exceeded the gap he did all he could to keep this thriving company on the map of today’s brilliant electronic field this was a passion for him to create new inventions to provide his customers with everything they wanted and needed.

Steve jobs will always be known as a great ambassador to the art of technology his bright ideas will always be remembered in the history of great things to come his company still can strive as he sold it right before he was considered deceased so he will not be forgotten for a very long time also he’s very lucky .

Charlie Sheen was on a serious drug in 2011 it was called Charlie Sheen he actually flipped out during his year 2011 he began to start his new slogan winning he actually believes threw all the criticism this year he took control of life the Charlie Sheen Way firing on all targets he was determined to beat the battle that was started by others his whole plan was to make sure defeat isn’t an option he totally took the toll for being one of 2011's biggest stories I believe he was fine he never did anything wrong from my prospective but others seem to believe he was a bit too much his actions spoke louder than his words that the life of Charlie Sheen a wild life full of tiger blood, bi-winning and goddesses for a girlfriend and yes he lost his role on one of the biggest shows on television but he still remains winning from his prospective he also was asked to do several other television which he talked about his controversial year 2011 he was a big success in publicity in 2011 I fairly believed he deserved the spotlight he did nothing but promote the Charlie Sheen he wanted to be seen as also he got what he wanted people paid lots of attention to him the spotlight was his destination with his wild Charlie Sheen actions I really believe he did exactly whets right in all aspects of life he tended to take control of what he thought was right .
